'Customised Gear Trial' has now ended...

The Customised Gear Trial has now ended.

Thanks to everyone who ordered during the trial period!

The trial has been a great resource to develop my production processes, clarify my business model and of course yielded some great new colourways.

 

 

What Now?

In the short term, I will be taking a restricted number of orders for 'Customised Colourways' individually assessed on a case by case basis.

I need some time to catch up on other demands, like building stock levels up, developing some exciting new gear, and digesting the data from the trial.

Pricing on any 'Customised Colourway' orders has increased, and can be discussed directly should your request for 'Customised Colourways' be approved.

The trial pricing was set low and 'flat rate' to improve access and field responses to build up data.

It ignored the variations in material input costs, and production disruptions, which will now be assessed and priced per individual combination, to reflect the true cost of production.

Ultimately this change will lead to a greater level of choice, and make more sustainable financial case for 'built on demand' products.

 

 

What's Next?

I anticipate building up some 'Regular' stock in a limited range of standard colourways, and adding a second tier of 'Premium' Colourways, using some interesting fabrics and alternate bungee colours.

Later the third tier of 'Customised Colourways' will be reintroduced in the future.
